Fall classes will begin September 14 and run until December 17.
SBLC offers a variety of classes, at various educational levels, times, and days. To qualify for these classes, learners must be a resident of Maryland, at least 16 years of age and officially withdrawn from high school. Learners 16, 17 or 18 must have withdrawal papers from their school. Legally, a 16 year old must now stay in school as of July 1, 2015, but SBLC can still take them if the school has asked him/her to leave.
Depending on your schedule you can choose a day, evening or Saturday class. Classes are offered during 8-12 week academic sessions.
The majority of classes are held on-site at our main facility on 28 E. Ostend St., but we also offer instruction at a variety of partner locations around the city.
The South Baltimore Learning Center (SBLC) was started in 1990, and has grown to serve hundreds of adults each year offering a variety of educational services, many geared towards helping learners earn their high school diplomas.
