SBLC’s mission is to improve the self-sufficiency of educationally disadvantaged adults by providing functional literacy, life skills training, and career preparation services to Baltimore residents. With a vision to cultivate a wholistic learning environment that prioritizes academics, social and emotional wellness, and workforce development, SBLC continues to strengthen and support adult learners in reaching their goals.
