An event every week that begins at 12:30 pm on Wednesday and Thursday, repeating until May 24, 2024

The South Baltimore Mindfulness Project, SBLC| Learning Works (formally South Baltimore Learning Center) aims to utilize mindfulness and self-care practices to re-engage our community and address the effects of stress and trauma in our educational system.The South Baltimore Mindfulness Project will offer 14 sessions of Mindfulness-based classes including meditation, stretching to release tension, nutrition, and breathing exercises.. Participants will learn about mindfulness,coping skills, nutritional education, how to identify triggers for trauma reminders, and how to evaluate anxious thoughts. These mindfulness and self-care practices aim to address the effects of loss, stress, and trauma on South Baltimore residents & learners.
