GED Preparation

SBLC offers a variety of classes, at various educational levels, times, and days. Depending on your schedule you can choose a day, evening or Saturday class. Classes are offered during 12 week academic sessions. To qualify for these classes, learners must be a Maryland resident, at least 18 years of age and officially withdrawn from high school.

The majority of classes are held on-site at our main facility on 28 E. Ostend St., but we also offer instruction at a variety of partner locations around the city.

Giving Tuesday, described as a “global generosity movement,” is tomorrow. SBLC | Learning Works has set a goal to raise $1,500 on this day to support our mission of improving the self-sufficiency of educationally disadvantaged adults in Baltimore. We urgently need monitors for our classrooms, which will boost the digital learning experience for our learners. At SBLC, we know that learning can foster an individual’s literacy success, which works to help learners develop viable career pathways. That’s why we say, “learning works.” We appreciate your past support and interest in SBLC. Can we count on you to donate on Giving Tuesday? southbaltimorelearns.org/support-us/donate/ ...
